St. Croix Valley (Hudson, WI) YMCA Y Partners Annual Support Campaign

Y Partners gifts provide scholarships to children and families who otherwise could not participate in YMCA programs due to financial need.

Y Partners 2010 is focusing on five critical needs:
*Youth leadership and development
*Safe and affordable child care
*Healthy lifestyles for youth
*Health disparities
*Water safety

Y Partners funds allow the St. Croix Valley YMCA to meet critical needs in our community!
*The St. Croix Valley YMCA provided, only with the help of Y Partners support, crucial free and reduced-cost teen programming including Saturday night "Coffee House Live", "Teen Nights", an open "Teen Center" (from 3-6pm afterschool) and the Wheel Park that provides a safe and fun place for active skate-boarders, bicyclists and in-line skaters.
*The Y provided $103,000 in scholarships in 2009 to over 1,200 low-income youth, adults, seniors and families from our community enabling them to have healthy, active lives during a difficult economic time.
*10% of our kids in child care are receiving scholarships made possible by Y Partners funds. This subsidy allows low-income families an opportunity to go to work and provide for their households.
*The YMCA partners with organizations like Big Brothers and Big Sisters to provide free access to the Y for regular activity dates. Each year the Y conducts an open community event called "Healthy Kids Day" that supports healthy lifestyles for all children and youth.

	$500 Sponsor a full year Membership for an older adult who is alone and needs the YMCA for health reasons and for a place to belong
	$1,000 Your gift can provide a Family Membership for a full year for a family facing difficult times in this economy
	$1,500 Provide a full year membership for a family plus swim lessons for the kids so they learn life-long water safety skills
