About the Geography Bee

The Bell School Geography Bee, now in its 8th year, provides a fun and engaging way to accelerate our students’ knowledge of geography. Learning about geography is an important step toward becoming a globally minded person and respecting other cultures. It provides a launching pad for learning about so many different aspects of living – from politics, to culture and customs around the world, to understanding climate and sustaining global resources.

The geography bee, currently offered for grades 4-8, rewards and encourages students who’ve taken an interest in geography, as well as motivates new students to discover a love of geography through friendly competition at the classroom and school levels.

Your donations to this item will allow the geography bee to continue at Bell School, as well as provide maps, globes and classroom materials to help students prepare and get the most benefit from this opportunity.
