Sponsor Sam as an Intern at United Way

Sam and her family (mom and three siblings) all live together in a small home in Anacostia. Sam couldn't do an internship without the support of Urban Alliance. While preparing to go to college next year, Sam is also helping to contribute to her family's income.

Sam is committed to sharing her successes and her struggles as she works to graduate from Anacostia High School with all of the donors who have agreed to support her this year through sponsorship of her internship at UWW. Your support not only allows Sam's internship to take place, it also helps Urban Alliance continue to work with DC Public High School students... with 100% of program participants graduations on time and 90% of them going on to college.
