Funds will be used to pay for special medical needs.

With limited funds for animals with special needs, when we receive an animal who needs a special surgery or has a treatable illness with expensive medication, we have a difficult time covering those additional costs. This fund is a way for you to donate funds that will be used specifically for these animals when they are received at the shelter.

    JACKIE DETLIE--WE SO APPRECIATE WHAT YOU DO FOR THESE ANIMALS. WE LOST OUR 13 YEAR OLD TO CANCER AND IT WAS HEARTBREAKING. WE DECIEDED TO GIVE A RESCUE DOG A HOME. BECAUSE OF OUR AGE WE DECIEDED TO ADOPT A OLDER ONE AND GIVE IT A NICE LOVING HOME. WE ADOPTED SANDI FROM THE WAVERLY PET RESCUE ON DECEMBER 26TH. WE FOUND HER THROUGH THE INTERNET. SHE IS THE MOST LOVING DOG. WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE HER! I THINK THE SPECIAL NEEDS ANIMAL FUND IS A GREAT THING FOR THESE LOVING ANIMALS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

    Your organization helps so many animals. We adopted our beloved Mowgli-aka Ferrari 2 years ago from you. Without your care and sanctuary at the beginning of her life, our family would not have the blessings of a dog that has brought so much joy to our home. Keep up the great work!
