Founded in 1981, the Snow Leopard Trust is the world's leading authority on the study and protection of the endangered snow leopard.
There are only 3,500-7,000 snow leopards left in the wild today.
The Snow Leopard Trust is dedicated to saving these magnificent cats before they disappear forever. In our programs in China, India, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, we are workin with local communities to end poaching; and our research is unlocking the secrets of this elusive animal.
Unfortunately, snow leopards have disappeared from areas they once roamed freely. Together, we can protect their precious habitat and save them from extinction.
