Slow Jog for Sloths!

When I was having a rough day I used to watch cute animal videos on Youtube. These odd looking little sloths would always appear. Nobody around me knew what they were or where they came from. I started seeking out more sloth videos and discovered that all the videos I found were from the same little place in Costa Rica. Then I discovered that there was a hotel there so people can visit and meet the sloths in person. Then I discovered there was a volunteer program that would make it affordable for an underemployed actress like me to make my dream a reality.

During my two weeks at The Sloth Sanctuary I learned so much that can't be put into words. It's a magical place that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. It survives on the donations of the visitors and people of the internet who are addicted to cute.

As someone who is out of shape, it's going to be very difficult to jog the entire 8k Shamrock Shuffle in Chicago on March 25, 2012. Last year I walked most of the way, but this year I'm going to jog very slowly for the sloths!
