In a spirited rally at the Capitol steps, Frank Moe and his sled dog team were cheers from a crowd of about 200 native and non-native supporters. Excitement has been building around this historic eight day, 350-mile dogsled trip from Northeastern Minnesota to the State Capitol. Former state representative, Frank Moe, and his sled dog team delivered your petition signatures to Governor Dayton in-person on Thursday March 8th.

Frank and other volunteers spear-heading this unique citizen effort still need your help to raise public awareness of the threats of metallic sulfide mining to the region's world-class freshwater resource. And they still have outstanding expenses.

The dogs, mushers, and volunteers have "run their heart out", as Frank says, to make this journey possible.
