Ski-A-Thon 2012 for Kyra
Kimberly Lovings fundraising for TAASC - The Adaptive Adventure Sports Coalition
The Ski-A-Thon raises money for TAASC programs including adaptive skiing that Kyra participates in during the winter. It's a great program!
Kyra loves to ski and TAASC is the organization that has made it possible for her to do it! She looks forward to winter weekends because she knows we're going to Mad River Mountain where she will meet her volunteers and get on the slopes for another day of fun. I think it's the feeling of freedom she gets flying down the hill that she just can't get in her wheelchair.
TAASC's 13th Annual SkiAThon: Winter Sports Spectacular is set for February 4 at Snow Trails Ski Resort. Please support TAASC's only fund raiser of the year. This event and your support provides funds for adaptive equipment, low cost lessons and sporting opportunities, and operating funds.
TAASC is powered by a 100% volunteer force of energetic, caring and competent group - over 300 volunteers strong! They create an atmosphere of optimism and willingness that sets the stage for success for people with any disability.
TAASC is 100% privately funded by our family of donors and supporters who make an investment in year round adventure sports opportunities for people of all abilities.
If you would like to attend the Ski-A-Thon on February 4th at Snow Trails, it's $30/$40 (child/adult) and you get an all day lift ticket (or 2 hour tubing pass), long sleeve t-shirt, lunch from Wendy’s, and a goody bag. To register, go to www.taasc.org.
If you can't attend but would like to help, please consider a donation.
