Thanks to your generousity, we have reached our maximum capacity for the Shades of Hope Gala and will no longer be selling tickets. If you would still like to support MFNE, you may make a donation today!

The Shades of Hope Gala is a celebration of those touched by melanoma. This year, we will be honoring Suzanne Donahue. Suzanne was only 40 years old when she lost her battle with melanoma on May 21, 2012. She fought long and hard, but did so with grace, a love of life, and hope.

We will keep Suzanne's memory alive by instituting the annual Suzanne Donahue Keeper of the Hope Award, given to individuals and corporations who are inspirational and who teach us about the importance of giving back. The first recipients of the award will be Suzanne's parents, Kathy and David Donahue, in memory of their daughter, as well as Financial Engines and Knight Capital Americas.

All funds raised through the Shades of Hope Gala support the programs provided by the Melanoma Foundation of New England. MFNE offers a variety of free, educational programs targeting the prevention of skin cancer for both children and adults. Support programs, such as Billy's Buddies, are also offered through MFNE.
