With your donation, Seeds of Hope promotes opportunities to improve lives through relationship and community development!
From our humble beginnings in the early 1990’s, Seeds of Hope has consistently grown each year reaching thousands of local families. We believe that for change to happen in the lives of the broken and hurting, relationships must be formed. We strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus as we minister through our programs.
Our Hot Lunch feeds homeless, disabled, out-of-work individuals and families six days a week. This free meal fills empty stomachs but also fills a spiritual void where love and concern are missing. A daily prayer and devotion bring hope to the hopeless.
It’s no secret the economy has affected families of all means. The Stanfield Free Medical Clinic opens its doors every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month September – May to see patients. Volunteer doctors and nurses prescribe medicine and treat patients who have no medical insurance. There is no requirement to be seen. All patients, regardless of age, gender, income status, and ailment are seen.
The families of the Westside continually struggle with breaking the cycle of poverty. Our After-School Program reaches children in grades kinder - sixth to provide structured activities that promote good citizenship, responsibility, honesty, and commitment. Our program is so successful we have outgrown our current facility and are raising capital funding for a larger community center where we can expand our ability to promote opportunities for change on the Westside.
Many grandparents today are faced with raising their grandchildren because of choices made by their children. Faced with difficult decisions, our Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program focuses on bridging the gap between them and resources or services available at monthly meetings. Area representatives share a wealth of information which enables grandparents to make informed decisions about their grandchildren.
Emergency Services are sometimes a necessity. We help meet that need by providing temporary shelter in a local hotel for an individual or family. Often, the loss of a job means hitting the street to find other sources of work. We provide gasoline vouchers to help those individuals who are looking for employment.
All of Seeds of Hope services are provided free of charge. We continue to operate by the generous gifts of those who believe in what we do and want to partner with us. I hope you will consider becoming one of those partners and help us continue to make a difference in our Casa Grande, AZ community.
