Seed Fund Drive for Children's Museum of Rochester

The vision is simple: the Children’s Museum of Rochester (Minnesota) will inspire and illuminate, entertain and inform, stimulate and educate. Unlike more traditional museums, the Children’s Museum of Rochester will be a lively, family-friendly campus where kids learn through play. Interactive activities and exhibits will be designed specifically to develop kids’ gross and fine motor skills and to enhance children’s creativity, curiosity, and unique learning styles. Our goal is to stimulate learning through hands-on experiences.

After building great momentum in 2009 through community events, promotion, and small fundraisers, the Children's Museum of Rochester is on the verge of securing a permanent location and launching a comprehensive financial campaign. This campaign will pay for the construction of permanent exhibits for the museum as well as an endowment for future building maintenance.
