Future School Fund

Education is an enormous need here... the mayor of Puerto Lempira has donated land for a future Christian school with English emphasis for middle and high school aged students.

Reach Out Honduras dreams of a Christian, middle and high school for poor children of the La Moskitia region of Honduras. Right now, the public middle school is over-crowded, under-funded and a haven for illegal drug activity. There is not a consistent public high school option for poor children. There is a private high school; however, the tuition is out of reach for 90% of the children of this region.

This fund will begin the process of fencing in the property, installing a septic system, well and beginning the building process. Our dream is to begin in February of 2014 offering 7th grade to 50-60 students.
