The ScrapMobile brings the creative process to science, math, social studies and language arts, serving 18,000 students in 54 communities right at their desks. Students build and invent in response to a challenge. “You’ve told me what you know about insects; now invent and build one no one has ever seen. Create a polluted environment—how does your insect mutate as a result?” Can you hear their brains spinning? The students visit the 26’ ScrapMobile to stuff a bag with materials to take home
and keep creating and inventing and THINKING.
