G.O.A.L.S. (Get Outside And Learn Something) Carlson Elementary students are heading on a 3 day river rafting trip to Ruby Canyon!
I'm excited for my upcoming wilderness raft trip with GOALS (Get Outside And Learn Something)!
During the 2013 river season, kids from my school will be heading out on a multi-day river trips. While we're in the canyons, we will disconnect from our video games and connect with one another. We'll push ourselves, take healthy risks, and grow both physically and mentally while exploring the desert wilderness. While paddling through some of North America's most beautiful canyons, we'll study the GOALS curriculum that incorporates academics, outdoor skiils, environmental stewardship, and interpersonal awareness.
In order to make these river programs available to ALL interested students, GOALS is collecting money. The goal is to help each student raise the money we need for our trip in Ruby Canyon and I appreciate your assistance in helping me reach my goal.
