On March 8th I will make my way inside Syria to meet the orphaned children, the widowed mothers, and the families who have lost everything.

They are hungry to the point of starvation. They are cold to the point of freezing.

Please, do not let me come to them empty handed.

I have only a few more days to gather as many donations as possible before I leave for Syria. I will deliver all money directly to refugees and internally displaced communities.

As a Syrian-American who visited Syria briefly as a child, I have no idea what to expect. It is my sincere hope that with your support the Syrian people will know what to expect from the American people - compassion, kindness, and love.

When I give the Syrian people my salam (greeting of peace), I will give them your salam (greeting of peace) as well.
