Partner with me to provide clean drinking water to South and Southeast Asia.
Every 20 seconds a child dies from water related disease.
We want to change that.
I am a member of the Jewish Teen Foundation whose goal is to provide safe water to developing countries, primarily in South and Southeast Asia. We are going to donate funds to organizations with projects that have a strong emphasis on sustainablity and education.
Last year, the Marin/SF Jewish Community Teen Foundation raised $48,000 for organizations that addressed the basic needs of people in nations affected by violent conflict, providing them with green technologies that led them towards self-sufficiency. This year, our goal is to raise $50,000.
I am contributing $250. We are aware that economic times are tough, but we still want to help people with even less. I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider a gift of any amount you feel comfortable with (perhaps $18, $36, $72, or $118 to symbolize the Hebrew word Chai, which means life). Won't you please join me in making a difference by giving someone a chance at life with clean drinking water?
