A project of SMILE NETWORK INTERNATIONAL
Salut Bar Americain in Edina, MN will be hosting a charity dinner on Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 with proceeds benefitting Smile Network.
Hello Friends and Neighbors:
My name is Zach Saueressig and I am the General Manager of Salut Bar Americain in 50th and France Neighborhood of Edina, MN.
My daughter, Zayla, was born in January, 2011 with a cleft lip and palate. After a couple of surgeries in the first year of her life, all that remains of her clefts are the scars to remind us that not every child is born in the “traditional” mold. Although she will have some other procedures to deal with down the road, Zayla is, for now, like any other almost 2-year-old, in that she can be equal parts angelic, curious, loving, hilarious, and demonic, all within the same 30-second time span. In short, she’s a pretty “normal” little girl and we are very blessed that she is in our lives.
Thankfully, my wife and I have access to great healthcare and insurance here in the Twin Cities so we could and can get Zayla proper and timely medical attention. Many families around the world, however, are not so fortunate.
We are asking your help to raise money for some of those families by donating to the cause.
We will be hosting a charity dinner at Salut on Tuesday, February 5th 2013 with proceeds from the silent auction and ticket price going to Smile Network.
The night will be hosted by Rick Kupchella with Bring Me the News and Julie Nelson from KARE-11 and will include dinner and wine along with a silent auction.
I know that with your help we can raise thousands of dollars and give new smiles to children around the world.
To make this evening the most successful event possible, even if you cannot join us for dinner, we are asking our friends and associates to consider a donation to benefit this worthy cause.
