These two sweet dogs have enriched my life in the last year and a half, and they both came to me from no-kill shelters. I’ve been volunteering with Austin Pets Alive! for the past year, helping foster animals and helping build out a ringworm-isolation ward for kittens at the APA! site. The specific dogs that I’ve loved on through APA! are “Medium”, aka Spitz; Sheldon, tiny puppies Eeyore and Piglet; Larry, Henry, Orion, and Ladybug, a “failed foster”, as I couldn’t let her go. It’s been a rewarding year helping out this terrific organization, and if you can help us meet the ASPCA Challenge to win this $100,000 grant, I would really appreciate your support. Every dollar is important.
