Help Me Help Them!

As many of you know, I have begun volunteering with an organization called Austin Pets Alive! I've been working with the Bottle Babies, kittens that are too young to feed themselves and do not a have a mom to feed them. We bottle feed them every 2 hours and it is amazing to watch them grow and thrive. Before this program started in 2009, these kittens would have been euthanized, but we step in and take them from the local animal shelter, allowing them a chance for adoption! I rarely show up for a shift empty handed - we are always in the need of everything from paper towels to kitty litter and cat food. And this all costs money...which is where you might come in :) If you are able to donate for this (in my humble opinion) very worthwhile organization I would really appreciate it. Volunteering with APA! has been so rewarding and I want to do everything I can to keep the program going, including asking for help from all of you!
