Helping Children & Building Schools in NICARAGUA & GUATEMALA
In 2010, 15 members of the St. Charles community embarked on the school's first International Service Trip to Guatemala & El Salvador. The impact of that inaugural trip is continuing to inspire others to expand their worldview through service towards those most in need. Through these efforts, students, faculty, parents and alumni are reminded that "Being our Brother's & Sister's Keeper" stretches to our international neighbors who suffer more than we can imagine.
This past summer our International Service grew to 29 participants and allowed us to add a second service trip to Honduras. This year we will carry out two service trips again, one returning to Guatemala & El Salvador a second trip to Nicaragua.
These students, faculty and parents are requesting your support for their efforts. Your donations help keep the cost of the trip reasonable for families struggling to provide this life-changing opportunity and will subsidizing the cost of building/project supplies needed for our . There is no other way around it, your donation will result in new schools and a safer environments for children in Nicaragua and Guatemala. Thank you for your interest & please consider donating to this cause.
