Attention all animal lovers - I have a challenge for you!

Friends, I volunteer with Austin Pets Alive (APA). They are an AMAZING non-profit rescue organization that has cut Austin's domestic animal kill rate in HALF in just one year. 100% of donations go to the care (spay/neuter, surgery, socialization etc.) of animals who were mere hours from being euthanized, such as the Momma and TEN four week old puppies I saved less than 30 minutes before they were set to die. I know I'm a sucker, but now, all 11 of them provide joy and unconditional love to their new families.

APA rescues puppies under six weeks (instantly put on the euthanasia list), older dogs, abuse victims, as well as many healthy loving but abandoned animals who just want to find their forever home. Every day, APA volunteers walk the "euthanisa list" rescuing as many as can fit into their van. APA is their last hope.

It takes $100 to cover rescue associated costs for one animal and I am asking you to please make a donation of ANY size to help me meet (and hopefully surpass) my goal of $500, which will at least seven or more pets from certain death because for every dollar you donate I will match it at 50% (if I were employed I'd donate more!)
