UPDATE: WOW...I managed to exceed my goal of $500 in less than 24 hours! You guys are amazing!!! I am so blessed to have the support of such incredible people! With your donations, I am already on my way to saving more than 5 lives!

I have decided to update my original goal and try to save at least 2 more precious animals! With friends and family like you behind me, I know we can do it! Thank you!!

Austin Pets Alive! is a non-profit organization that is making great strides in helping Austin become a no-kill city. In the past two years we've saved over 5,000 dogs and cats from impending euthanasia. Since APA! is run almost exclusively by volunteers, it depends on generous donations to fund programs, supplies, and operational expenses. APA! provides animals in its program with food, shelter, medical care, and the promotion and matching necessary to find a forever family.

I am asking for your help so that I can save 5 lives. In order to save these lives, my personal goal is to raise $500 by October 15th, 2010. Please consider sponsoring me in any amount ($1-$1,000) by making a donation today. All proceeds go directly to Austin Pets Alive! and are tax- deductible.
