We're raising $500 to save 5 lives.

We are heavily involved with local rescue group, Austin Pets Alive! , who are working to make Austin a no-kill city.

Austin Pets Alive! has saved 3,000 pets from imminent euthanasia at our city shelter in the last year, our second year of operation. We just secured our first building , which is going to help save an additional 1,000 dogs and cats in the next year, on top of the 3,000 we're already on target to save.

Austin Pets Alive! actually loses money on every pet they adopt out. The average cost to get a pet ready for adoption is about $100 more than what they received back in adoption fees.

We hope, though this drive, to raise $50,000 total to pay for 500 pets.
