Ryan Goodman fundraising for Clean Water for Haiti
Ryan Goodman fundraising for National Community Church
Working with Convoy of Hope, our team will be working on clean water projects for the people of Haiti.
Long before an epic earthquake struck Haiti in January 2010, leaving more than 2 million men, women and children homeless, the living conditions were the worst in the Western Hemisphere. But since a number of aftershocks, outbreaks of cholera and lack of recovery infrastructure, Haiti remains in a state of emergency. A team from National Community Church will travel to Port-au-Prince, May 5-13, 2012 to work with world relief organization, Convoy of Hope, to provide clean water to communities in and around the capital city. This will include distributing water filtration kits that will provide families with clean water for cooking and cleaning. The team will also work to build a latrine and fresh water well. Join the team by supporting the trip members financially, by praying with and for the team and the Haitian people, and by asking how you can participate in pre-trip events. Any gift small or large will help propel long term assistance in Haiti through the projects the team participates in! Thanks so much for your participation in changing lives!
