My granddaughter was born with a partially developed left lung and I watched as she struggled for her first breaths. I watched the pain in my daughter's and son-in- law's eyes - at the helplessness they felt. We are lucky. My granddaughter is growing into a healthy, thriving child. For those with CF, they are not so lucky. Their entire lives are a battle to breath. No one should have to experience this. No child. No parent. That is why I am trying to raise money for CF.
