Many of you know that my oldest daughter, lives with Rett Syndrome which is a rare neurological disorder. And those of you who know me and my famiily, know that we will do anything and everything for Anna Cate, until a cure or treatment is found for her!

Last year I ran in the Disney Princess Half Marathon on a Team of 80 for Girl Power 2 Cure, Inc. We all ran for Rett Syndrome and of course I ran for Anna Cate! Not only did I run, but so did 7 of my good friends! It truly was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.

Anna Cate faces challenges daily and she never gives up! I was never a runner until last year and thought this goal of running a half marathon for her was a good challenge for me. A challenge for me to have to work extra hard at something, just like Anna Cate works extra hard every day at many things, especially like the ones that come the easiest for us.

I am running again in Feburary 2013 for Anna Cate and all her Rett Sisters who would give anything to be able to run along side us too! I hope that you will be able to support me as I run for my princess who can not. Your donation is greatly appreciated!
