Running 4 Ryan/STOP SIDS

Cindy Romanik is running the Boston Marathon on April 19 raising money for the MINNESOTA SUDDEN INFANT DEATH CENTER

SITUATION
I am running the Boston Marathon on April 19--which happens to be my birthday. I share my birthday with my grand-nephews Riley and Ryan Stachowiak.

BACKGROUND
Ryan Stachowiak died of SIDS December 22, 2007. I was on my way to work that night when I received the call and went straight to the ER to support Ryan's family.

ASSESSMENT
Because of the significance of the date of the marathon, it has been on my heart to run this marathon for Ryan and SIDS.

RECOMMENDATION
Please consider supporting the Minnesota Sudden Infant Death Center in honor of Ryan Stachowiak

The MINNESOTA SUDDEN INFANT DEATH CENTER is a program of Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota. The MN SID Center works to support families, educate communities and participate in research regarding SIDS.
