I'm erging on the rowing machine 10,000 meters to raise money for our training winter trip and to afford uniforms and equipment.
Hello everyone, my name is Charlie and I've been rowing for about eight months now. We practice everyday and most weekends we have a race against other teams all over New England. Everyday of practice and during every race I get a little bit better. There is always something I can improve on. Rowing is the most challenging thing I've ever done and I love it.
This winter we will be taking a winter training trip, where we will be rowing at least twice a day, visiting colleges, and having a great time together as a team. Even though it will be a long van ride, I can't wait to get out of winter in Boston and GO ROW!
Even though I haven't been rowing very long, it is already one of the main things in my life and something that I look forward to every single day. Rowing is such an amazing sport. In crew we have to work together as a team. If one person in the boat takes a bad stroke or doesn't follow the person in front of them exactly, the whole boat can be unset and slow us down. In rowing there is always a way and a place to improve and you're never done learning. I want to row for the rest of my life.
I hope you are able to help me reach my goal of 1,000 dollars. I will be erging on the rowing machine 10,000 meters which is 6.2 miles. Thank you!
