Children's Workshop Annual Giving 2011-2012
Fall, 2011
Each year at this time, we ask everyone in the Children’s Workshop community to make a tax-deductible contribution to the school’s Annual Giving Campaign. These donations provide unrestricted dollars to supplement the annual operating budget, allowing us more Room to Grow.
Annual Giving (this year entitled “Room to Grow”) is one of our major fundraisers, with a target of $17,000. These critical fundraising dollars allow Children’s Workshop to:
Why give? In order to reach our goal, we depend upon every family to make a contribution, as well as additional gifts from staff, alumni, and friends of Children’s Workshop. With 100% participation, we can create Room to Grow and maintain the extraordinary educational experience for all students. High participation rates are also a powerful sign of the school’s health and vitality.
How much do people give? Each year parents decide what amount is best for their family. In past years, gifts have ranged from $5 to $1,000. Last year’s average gift was around $150. Each gift, at any level, is a meaningful indicator that our community values Children’s Workshop and is engaged in supporting our mission.
How do I give? Please take a moment to consider the giving options outlined in the enclosed card. Many families choose to make monthly gifts adding up to a larger sum than they could have given at one time. Because Children’s Workshop is a non-profit organization, all gifts are fully tax-deductible. If you have any questions about giving options, please contact Head of School, Nicholas Stocco at nick@childrensworkshopmontessori.org.
If you would like to find out more information about our Room to Grow Annual Giving Campaign and the use of fundraising dollars, please contact this year’s Annual Giving Chair and Board of Trustees Vice President, Mike Hollenstein at michael.hollenstein@gmail.com.
