Rockin’ Paw Rescue & Adoption Network, Inc. (RPRAN) is a 501c3, nonprofit, all volunteer driven organization dedicated to improving the lives of companion dogs and people through advocacy, education, and support. Volunteers facilitate the rescue and adoption of stray, abandoned, neglected, abused, and surrendered companion dogs and to place them into lifelong, committed, loving homes.

RPRAN is committed to a world in which animals are treated with compassion and respect. A future where there is no pet overpopulation due to citizens embracing responsible pet guardianship, and where all healthy, treatable companion animals find safe and loving homes.

RPRAN does not have a physical shelter location. The organization is based out of Parsons, Kansas and operates with state licensed volunteers who provide shelter in a family home atmosphere where the dogs can recuperate from injury,
disease, or stress so that they can become healthy and adoptable. Our volunteers work with the adoptable dogs in rehabilitating them from illness and/or surgery, socialization and house training so that they can reach their full potential and secure a second chance at a permanent, loving home through adoption.

Rescue Results:

• RPRAN Volunteers have rescued over 175 companion animals since operations began in 2009 with only TWO full time licensed foster caregivers, and ONE part time temporary home.

Results/Other Community Assistance 2009:

• Sponsorship & coordination of a Petfinder.com
  Adoption Options Educational Conference at Emporia State University in May 2009. Over 75 attendees from 7 states represented in the registration. Conference content included:
  Shelter operations and record keeping, fundraising strategies, and volunteer management.

Results/Other Community Assistance 2010-2011:

• Financial Assistance to 5 other area shelter/rescue organizations: $2,345
• Supply Assistance to 2 other area shelter/rescue organizations: 2000 pounds Dog Food
• Spay/Neuter Grant Secured for 2011/2012 – Low Income Community Outreach Assistance
