I am excited not only to take these students from our church to serve in Hungary but to take my two daughters, Sarah and Emily. The last time I had the opportunity to minister overseas was when Emily was just two weeks old. Now I have the chance to have Sarah and Emily with me as we are the hands and feet of Christ at an English speaking camp for Hungarian students.

Since I am adopted myself, I have a soft spot for orphans, and for refugees who feel abandoned.

Isaiah 61:1-3 says "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has annointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captive and freedom to the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor, to comfort all who mourn, to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, oil instead of mourning."
