Not only are Rob and Pegge donors to Animal Humane Society, Rob is also a dedicated volunteer spending over 1,460 hours helping care for animals in need over the past four years.

When asked about donating his time and money to support AHS, Rob had this to say:

Pets are a big part of our family and have provided Peggy and I with a great deal of happiness, companionship, and affection. Volunteering at AHS gives me an opportunity to give back something by trying to enrich the lives of many other dogs who may be less fortunate.

And enrich their lives he does. Rob works hard in adoption support and our adoption preparation program, designed for shy or fearful dogs. He love the dogs and often comes in even when he isn’t scheduled just to check up on them. He often follows adoption prepartion dogs through the process until they’re on the adoption floor and eventually adopted. He remembers every dog he’s worked with and often talks about them.

But Rob isn't just good with the animals, he's also a mentor to new volunteers and approaches every aspect of his work with a great attitude. He makes every dog and customer who enters the building feel great about being here.
