Project Angel Heart--Food.For Life--Capital Campaign

As most of you know, I have spent the past 2 and a half years working with Project Angel Heart, helping them raise money for their new building at 4950 Washington St.

Project Angel Heart is an amazing organization, delivering meals to those living with life-threatening illnesses in Denver and Colorado Springs. Project Angel Heart meets their mission with incredible efficiency and attention to detail. The food is of the highest caliber (always imporant to me!) and they are able to modify each meal to meet the nutritional needs of those they are serving. We serve over 800 clients a week--and we do all of that with only an 8% overhead. What this means is that 92 cents of each dollar raised goes directly back into our food delivery program!

With the completion and move into the new building (happening in early January) we will be able to eradiacte our wait list and eventually serve up to five times as many people.

Through amazing generosity, Project Angel Heart has raised over $6.6 million dollars towards our $7.1 million goal! We are only about $450,000 away! Every dollar counts and if you are able to make a contribution, you can be assured it is going to a fantastic organization to do important work within our city!
