I am honored to be running in the 118th Boston Marathon on April 21, 2014 as part of Michael's Miracle Marathon Team!

On April 15, 2013 we all can remember where we were when we heard about the bombing at the Boston Marathon. I remember feeling a pit in my stomach similar to what I felt when hearing the news on 9/11. I looked for some upcoming marathons and signed up for the Denver which was the very next major city marathon. I wanted to do what it took to get into the 2014 Boston Marathon to show support for Boston, The United States of America, and our fight against terrorism.

So many people were affected by the bombing at the Boston Marathon including the charities that rely on the Boston Marathon for financial assistance for their great causes. When I set my mind to running the 2014 Boston Marathon, I looked into the various charities I could run for. I WILL BE running the Boston on April 21, 2014 as part of the Michael Carter Lisnow Respite Center Team. Unlike, other worthy charities, where millions upon millions of dollars are raised through various means, The Respite Center's main funding for the year is derived from the Boston Marathon Charity Program.

The Michael Lisnow Respite Center provides care and support to individuals and their families, children and adults, with all ranges of disabilities. I am asking for your donations to raise money for the families who cannot afford to pay for the quality care their child recieves at the center.

Show support for this great Boston area charity and also show your support for the City of Boston and the United States of America by not allowing terrorist attacks such as those last year negatively affect our county and this great city. Let's keep BostonStrong!

Shelly and I are putting in the first $100 and I will match up to $3,750 toward my goal through my company RJH & Associates, Inc. as a corporate match for what is raised. So EVERY dollar you donate to this charity will be matched. If you want to put in $25, think of it as donating $50. If you donate $100, it will bring the same donation to this charity as $200. You cannot loose by donating to this charity!

Please seriously consider helping me reach my fundraising goal of $7500 - I assure you it is a worthwhile cause and will help keep Boston Strong.

With Gratitude,
