RJ's Mitzvah Project

Dear Friends-

My Mitzvah Project allows me the opportunity to give back to the community & to those who are less fortunate than myself. I have chosen to support an organization called PeacePlayers International (http://peaceplayersintl.org) whose mission is to unite, educate & inspire young people in divided communities through the game of basketball.

This project suits me perfectly because I love the game of basketball and my friends & I can have a blast while at the same time we are helping to improve the lives of others.

My way of raising awareness about PeacePlayers, will be to host a 3-on-3 half court basketball tournament on Sunday, October 2nd, between 2:00 & 5:00 PM, at Hoop Heaven in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Hoop Heaven has generously donated their courts for my project. If you are able to attend my fundraiser, you can donate then, but primarily, I am raising money through this website. If you prefer, you can forward your donation by check too--please reach out to me directly if should you wish to donate by check rather than credit card.

PeacePlayers will use the money I raise towards their efforts in building mutual respect & understanding among Jewish & Arab youth in Israel &the West Bank.

I wish you could all be at my fundraiser, so that I could thank you in person for your support, but I know that is just not possible. So, in advance, I would like to thank you all so much for helping me to help others, with your generous donations.
