Help stop human trafficking! Help rescue victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression.

"If you want someone to remark about a cause, you need to do something remarkable... even if it's just remarkably stupid." - Cedric Dahl, Charity Adventurer

We're driving an Auto Rickshaw 5,000 km (3,300 miles) on the most dangerous roads in the world from one corner of India to another in an effort to raise awarness & funds to fight human trafficking.

Human trafficking victimizes more children in India than anywhere else in the world. Though trafficking is explicitly prohibited in the Indian constitution, enforcement is weak due to the limitations of the country’s overburdened judicial system. The result is massive trafficking of children and women, both within India and across its borders. The primary factor allowing slavery to persist is a fractured public justice system lacking the capacity to extend the protections of the law to those who need it most.

The funds you contribute go directly to the International Justice Mission (IJM.org) to combat slavery and forced prostitution, bringing freedom and restoration to victims and ensuring that perpetrators are prosecuted for their crimes.

The risk in all seriousness - is death, let alone horrible injury - but the reward is knowing that our trek across back mountain roads, swamps and jungle will improve the lives of others.

Cheers,

The Charity Adventurers: Cedric Dahl, Chris Keller & Daniel Gonzales

Update from Cedric: "We arrived safely to the next pit stop. We had to drive through the night, tailgate semi trucks at night (to avoid being simultaneously blinded/crushed by oncoming traffic) and sleep a few hours in a gas station... but we made it."

Update from Cedric: Today we left Veranasi and are making our way to Patna. From Patna it will take 2 days to reach Darjeeling, then it's 2 more days to Guwahati & 1 day to Shillong. The roads around Shillong are terrible! Imagine 2 lanes of traffic on a skinny 1 lane road in the mountains with no shoulder or guard-rails and 200 foot drops! Wish us luck!
