Hairdressers Helping Hairdressers Disaster Relief Fund For The PBA Foundation
We at Richard Scott proudly announce one of the area’s most extravagant anniversary celebrations to hit the town in a long time. We invite you to join in the celebrations in our swanky newly renovated premises on March 13, 2013.
Our event is being sponsored by Wella P&G and Elle Magazine.
I had the pleasure and privilege of attending the Hairdressers Helping Hairdressers (HHH) benefit for fellow beauty professionals impacted by Hurricane Sandy, on December 9 at Canoe Studios in New York City. My salon staff and I have been so greatly moved by the show of unified support at the event and would like to involve our salon and our Mount Kisco community in doing something that will assist the efforts to help hairdressers that have lost their homes and businesses.
We invite you to participate in this monumental task. There are many hairdressers that have lost everything and every dime we can raise towards helping out and giving them a new start will go the distance. Please join us in helping to collect funds on behalf of the Pro Beauty Association Disaster Relief Fund to help this wonderful effort.
The Disaster Relief Fund is particularly dear to us at Richard Scott as we are no strangers to the devastating effects of disaster. In 2007, our business was very nearly wiped out of existence after an unfortunate fire but thankfully we have been able to rebuild it. Since that difficult time in our history we have moved from strength to strength and are an important fixture in the village of Mount Kisco, NY.
We are hoping to be able to help others achieve the same progressive recovery and not only provide financial assistance through fund-raising but moral support and reassurance. For those affected by devastation the horizon can appear dark and the future bleak. It can be helpful to hear from those that have gone through the same despair that survival is more than possible. Richard Scott is thriving now and so can others.
I have included a fundraising packet for your review. In it you will find three ways for your business to participate along with a brief description about Richard Scott and some of the activities that will surround the celebrations. All the funds raised through these efforts will go to Hairdressers Helping Hairdressers for the Disaster Relief Fund. All donations are tax deductible and the PBA will email you with a receipt of your donation.
