UPDATE:

Thanks to the generosity of some big-hearted RAGOM supporters, we have TWO matching grants for Give to the Max Day!

The first is a $1,000 grant from an anonymous donor, and the second is a $5,000 grant from our friends at Evans Larson, a Minneapolis public relations firm.

For every dollar you donate, these generous supporters will donate up to $6,000 to match, essentially doubling the value of your contribution!

Mission

The purpose of Retrieve A Golden of Minnesota, Inc., a full service rescue organization, is to:

• Provide a high quality of life for Golden Retrievers who can no longer remain in their current environment
• As possible, provide Golden Retriever rescue group functions, including thorough veterinarian examinations and treatments Cooperate with state and local authorities in the enforcement of laws related to the welfare and control of dogs
• Encourage, educate and promote responsible dog ownership and good canine citizenship

Programs

• Train foster homes;

• Provide necessary paperwork for intake foster and placement;
• Provide adoptive homes with information on caring for rescued dogs.
• Foster homes donated over 4,000 hours of services for rescue, foster and placement.
• Rescued and re-homed 258 stray or unwanted Golden Retrievers.
• Spayed or neutered, if needed.
• Provide vet services as needed. i.e. Test for heartworm, worms, etc. Bring shots up to date; Provide surgery as needed.
• Setup and maintain website for easy access for public and foster home/volunteer use and education.
• Facilities for meeting provided at no cost. Booth rental at shows, provided at no charge.
