Research To Cure MS
A fundraiser supporting NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY
In 2000, My mom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She was a single parent and living on the third story of an apartment building, with a seven year old daughter. My mom's MS has changed my life. At 7 I became the care giver for my mom. I would make her beakfast, lunch, and dinner... seven days a week. A had to grow up really fast. But from my mom having MS I learned so much about what it means to take life for granted. About a year and a half after the diagnosis I became involved with The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now I volunteer with many programs run by the organization, including the MS Walk, the MS 150 bike tour, Teen Council, and the MS Youth and Adult Camps. I love making a difference in the lives of people with MS. I love knowing that I can change a life, even if it's in the smallest way!!
Having MS means that you might be able to walk one day, and then not be able to walk the next. MS shows up differently in everyone, but it is the same in one way... it makes people suffer. Thats why I need YOUR help, so that together we can Make A Difference In The Lives Of People With Multiple Sclerosis, and Put A STOP to MS. Please JOIN THE MOVEMENT and help people like my mom find a cure for Multiple Sclerosis.
