A project of LIONS TIGERS & BEARS
Every $5 per mile you pledge can help Sugar Bear get safely to Lions Tigers & Bears, where he can have a real forever home.
Sugar Bear is a lonely black bear in Ohio and needs your help. He is losing his current home and desperately needs a new place to live. You can make a difference for this adorable bear who is absolutely beautiful and loves attention.
Every $5 per mile you pledge can help Sugar Bear get safely to Lions Tigers & Bears, where he can have a real forever home along with Liberty, Delilah and Blossom.
Each mile pledged goes towards food, vet costs, supplies, trailer equipment, and fuel.
Bobbi Brink was notified by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries while she was in Ohio testifying before the state legislature regarding new legislation to protect exotic animals, and she was asked to visit a nearby struggling sanctuary. The troubled sanctuary was desperate to find new homes for their dozens of exotic animals including tigers, lions, wolves, cougars, and onespecial Sugar Bear.
Bobbi is currently working with GFAS to place the big cats in bona fide sanctuaries. LTB cannot take the big cats at this time until more enclosures can be built, but Liberty, Blossom and Delilah have agreed to take in another roommate in the recently completed "Black Bear Habitat." Of course, we'll need to build him his own bedroom, but he'll have plenty of space to roam - and a new family of bears to share his life with. The round trip from Ohio is 4,530 miles. We're asking all animal lovers and advocates to sponsor just $5 per mile and to ask your friends and family if they can help, too. And if you can go the extra mile and send more, we can get him to LTB faster.
