In the fall of 2007, I made a phone call that would change my life forever. I inquired about a ministry called Young Life and asked how I could get involved. A short time later I jumped in with both feet and have never looked back.

My life changed drastically, in the most incredible way. My 'purpose' shifted from chasing a good time to chasing after high school kids in hopes that they would realize that God loves them as they are and chose them to be in relationship with Him. God has blessed me infinitely through these kids during the past six years as I've had the opportunity to simply walk alongside them and figure out the ins and outs of life.

I've gone to Colorado numerous times taking kids to Frontier Ranch during the summer and to Crooked Creek for ski trips. I treasure each of those trips, and even moreso the girls that were there with me.

But this coming summer I have a new opportunity that I have been praying about for quite awhile now. I have the chance to not only go on an international mission trip, but I have the chance to go on an international mission trip WITH MY GIRLS! I can't even put into words how excited I am and how much this means to me!

For those of you unfamiliar with Young Life, it's an international Christian organization focused on high school kids. The vision of the organization is that "Every adolescent will have the opportunity to meet Jesus Christ and follow Him."

On this trip we will be working with Young Life Uganda and assisting them with their Club in Kampala. In addition, we will also serve in Kampala with orphanages and other projects.

In order for this dream to become reality, I need to raise quite a bit of money. I ask you to support me first with prayer, and financially when possible. I will keep you posted as the trip grows closer and of course when we get back. I have no doubt that God will bless your donations tenfold!
