Established in 1991, Nevada Public Education Foundation (NPEF) leverages resources and partnerships to help Nevada's youth become "ready for life" as well as re-engage those who prematurely left school so they can graduate from high school and become productive, self-sufficient, and self-confident young adults.
- Through its Ready for Life partners, nearly $23.5 million has been leveraged to serve youth in communities across Nevada.
- Since 2005 NPEF has granted over $1 million through grant programs, impacting 105,000 students in Nevada.
- NPEF is a rallying point for a network of nearly 1,500 stakeholders.The Foundation convenes local, regional and statewide organizations doing similar work to maximize resources and effort.
- NPEF seeks to consistently measure and improve programs and services; and organizes public and private support to sustain the work and ensure that young people receive the education and resources they need to become productive, contributing members of society.
