READ INDEED

When Maria was 8 years old, she learned how many kids throughout the world don't own a single book. As an avid reader, Maria became determined to change that! She declared that she wanted to collect and distribute 1 million books to needy kids by the time she's 18. She named her organization, Read Indeed, and has collected and distributed books to kids throughout the world. She continues to work hard—organizing book drives, sorting, counting and distributing books to those that need them. As Maria says, she wants to "make a world a better place, one book at a time." The donations Read Indeed receives are used to offset costs of shipping books and warehouse space.
