Established in 2006, R.O.O.M. developed from the mission experiences of our director, Tara Boshart Garcia, while teaching in Honduras. After spending much time in two drastically different orphanages, one well sponsored and the other not, she realized the needs orphanages struggle with whether publically or privately run.

While the majority of our work is presently in Honduras, R.O.O.M. has already begun to expand to other needy countries. Our hope is to reach EVERY orphanage everywhere with the love of Christ; assisting those already there physically, emotionally, mentally, and especially spiritually. The plan is to continue and grow as long as there is an orphanage out there in need.
