Reach Out For Warmth
A project of KOOTASCA COMMUNITY ACTION INC
Reach Out for Warmth is crisis payments for primary fuel.
Reach Out for Warmth (ROFW) funds provide additional help when federal funds are inadequate to meet household's needs. ROFW benefits include crisis payments for primary fuel (propane, fuel oil, natural gas) or electricity. All ROFW payments are made directory to the vendor.
Established in 1992 by The MN Legislature, this Emergency Energy Assistance Fuel Fund (commonly called "Reach Out For Warth") is completely funded from corporate and individual donations. All money raised by KOOTASCA Community Action Inc.'s Energy Assistance Program can be matched one to one using federal money. For example, if we receive $10 from a donor, the federal match will be $10, for a total of $20.
