Help us provide urgent and hospice care to injured and abused ferrets.

This fundraiser will serve the population of ferrets that many do not hear about. Those turned in by ACO and agencies in need of rehabilitation... many of whom require permanent hospice care. The quiet cases we see over and over again, neglected and abandoned , injured or starved to the point they are gravely compromised. These ferrets deserve to know that humans can be kind and can show them love and respect. In our no kill shelter programs these are also the cases that drain the budget. So, please consider helping us continue to provide care for deserving companion ferrets who have seen a cloudy day but strive to see the sun.

    Ferretwise is such a wonderful shelter that fights for ferret welfare on so many levels. Through education of the public on ferret care. Through legislature for ferret welfare. And of course, with direct care of neglected, abused, and abandoned ferrets. May we all help Ferretwise continue their efforts.

    FerretWise, Dino, Alicia and all their volunteers are shining examples of what it means to be humane, and show kindness and compassion not only to the neediest and seemingly most "unsaveable" animals, but people, too!

    I can't say enough about Alicia, Marilyn, Greg, Maurice...all the hospice moms and dads...thank you ALL for giving your all to help these little ones have a chance at life and love...I love you guys....

    From the moment I learned of ferret shelters, I knew of Ferret Wise. For years Alicia and Dino have shared their hearts and homes with these little ones. They have educated many a ferret owner and helped make the world a better place for ferrets. Their annual FerretStock - and pie auction! - brought people together throughout New England to have fun together while learning about ferrets. Thank you, Ferret Wise!

    Ferretwise is a remarkable non profit org. Alicia and Dino are dedicated to making life a better place for those ferrets who had uneducated owners. It takes a big heart heart and alot of money to turn your home into a rescue. They are one in a million and we thank them for all that they do.     Alicia is a godsend to all little ferrets. She has a great education web site to help with many questions a ferret owner might have. This truely a place about ferrets and for ferrets.

    Ferretwise works hard to save the lives of those that are often over looked in our society, please don't let them be forgotten any longer. Let the little ones know that all lives are important no matter how tiny as their spirits shine bright and they have so much love to give.

    Ferret Wise Rescue & Rehabilitation Shelter works toward the prevention of cruelty to animals and serves the community by: providing education to public and humane workers pertaining to the care and maintenance of the domestic ferret; investigation of animal abuse and neglect; providing rehabilitation and placement services to domestic ferrets forwarded through animal investigation agents.
