Let's make 2011 the year we retire our Catholic Aid mortgage that we are still paying for renovations which began in 1990!

Currently we owe Catholic Aid Association around $139,00. We're paying $9,000 a year in inerrest. Obviously, the more we reduce the debt, he less interest we'll pay as the months go along.

What could we do with the money we save?

  • Increase our support of the fine Catholic education at Risen Christ school;
  • Expand our outreach ministries, such as our We Care program;
  • Invest in an endowment. Rather than paying a bank, the bank could be paying us;
  • We could be proactive instead of reactive with the upkeep and improvement of our facilities.

How can we do it?

Believe we can! St. Albert's parishiners and friends have shown they can accomplish Great things when they set their minids to it. We're planning some events to make the process FUN.

Double dip Sunday: On the third weekend of the month give double what you would give that week. If you normally give $10, give $20 and mark the extra $10 for debt reduction.

Together we can do it!
