Pulaski Playground Project (correct page)
A fundraiser supporting GREATER PULASKI ALLIANCE INC
Virginia Tech Circle K is building a playground in Heritage Park in Pulaski, Virginia. On the outside of town, this park has a gazebo and a picnic shelter, but nowhere for children to play during the many family and town gatherings that take place there. Every year, an Easter egg hunt is held in the park too. VTCKI, in conjunction with the Greater Pulaski Alliance, the Pulaski Parks Department, and of course our friends in Kiwanis, is working to improve this land and make it a better place for kids.
Support from the Capital District Kiwanis Foundation and the Kiwanis International Tomorrow fund have helped a great deal so far. Enthusiasm from Pulaski residents is spreading and our club is very excited about this project. We hope to raise the last $5000 for the playground we have chosen(picture coming soon) by the end of August and we plan to build in September.
We need your help! Every donation makes a difference and puts us a little closer to building our playground.
Donors of $50 or more will have their names displayed on a recognition plaque in the park.
