As a society, we believe Baton Rouge is above the sad statistics reported by Animal Control in past years. Given the proper framework, we believe our residents will participate in the life-saving efforts involved in becoming a No Kill community, in which no companion animals meet untimely ends.

Companion animals enrich our lives tremendously, and we have repeatedly observed that once Baton Rouge residents become aware of this problem, they are eager to be part of the solution.
