Contributions to Project Pink will help provide area women with the best early breast cancer detection technology available.
Although Breast Cancer is the second leading cancer cause of death in women, it is treatable when detected early. To provide area women with the best detection technology available, Naeve Health Care Foundation and Naeve Hospital Auxiliary are partnering to purchase a new state-of-the-art mammography system for Albert Lea Medical Center.
With a total project cost of $555,000, contributions from the Foundation and Auxiliary have reduced the amount to $279,000. Project Pink was established to provide the community with a way to support this cause and further ALMC’s mission to “provide the best care to every patient, every day”.
